Work to protect, promote and enhance our towns and countryside to make them better places to live, work and enjoy, and ensure the countryside is protected for now and future generations

Climate Concern UK -
Helps people understand the risks and dangers of our carbon emissions, overcome some common misunderstandings and to explain the origins or unwarranted scepticism and denial

Hopes to mobilize people to take action on climate change. Inspires a global community of millions of people world wide to switch lights off for an hour as a massive show of concern for the environment.

Friends of the Earth -
They campaign for solutions to environmental problems

Green Peace UK -
Defend the natural world and promote peace by investigating, exposing and confronting environmental abuse, and championing environmentally responsible solutions

Rainforest Concern -
Protects threatened natural habitats and the biodiversity they contain, together with the indigenous people who still depend on them for survival

Save the
Aims to raise environmental consciousness by supporting scientific research and educational programs

Trees for Cities -
Aims to create social cohesion and beautify our cities through tree planting, community-led design, education and training initiatives in urban areas that need it most

The Conservation
Helps hundreds of thousands of people each year to reclaim local green places. Through our own environmental projects and through our network of 2,000 community groups, we see people – every day, and all across the UK – taking responsibility for their own local environments.

The Woodland Trust -
Aims to enable the creation of more native woods and places rich in trees; protect native woods, trees and their wildlife for the future and inspire everyone to enjoy and value woods and trees

Wild Foul and Wetlands
Wetland conservation organisation working globally to safeguard and improve wetlands for wildlife and people. Their purpose is; to raise awareness of the value of wetlands to life on Earth, identify and counter threats to the survival of wetlands and their wildlife and inspire people to explore and value wetlands, and support wetland conservation.

Provides practical help and support to blind and partially sighed people of all ages

Their purpose is to protect people wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied

Mission is to end the book famine in Africa

Barnardo’s -
Transforms the lives of the most vulnerable children across the UK through the work of projects, campaigning and research expertise

British Heart Foundation -
Task is to keep hearts beating and focus their work on doing ground-breaking research

A volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are

Bullying UK -
Transforms the lives of families by helping them with any problem or challenge they face.

Cancer Research -
Pioneer life-saving research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured

Children with Cancer UK -
Children with Cancer UK are working to improve the survival rates and quality of survival in young cancer patients, and to find and reduce the causes of cancer.

Comic Relief -
Strives to create a just world free from poverty. Their mission is to drive positive change through the power of entertainment

GOSH Charity -
Raises money to enable the hospital to provide world class care and to pioneer new treatments and cures for childhood illnesses

Habitat for Humanity -
An international development charity that aims to break the cycle of poverty by eliminating poverty, housing and homelessness

Macmillan -
Provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care

Oxfam -
Dedicated to building a just and safer world focusing on people’s basic rights. We’re passionate about ending poverty and helping to rebuild the lives affected by it.
Organises entertainment for children in hospital. Pod entertainers bring a little magic, fun and laugher into the lives of children in hospital. They give monthly shows in over 15 hospitals and hospices throughout the UK.

Save the Children -
Run world-class programmes to save children’s lives and challenge world leaders to keep their promises to give children a brighter future

Stroke Association -
They support stroke survivors to make the best recovery they can, campaign for better stroke prevention and care and fund research to develop new treatments and ways of preventing stroke

Act For Wildlife
A conservation campaign led by Chester Zoo, helping to save endangered species around the world from extinction. Aims to raise awareness of the conservation needs and the money needed to make a difference.

Animal Welfare Foundation -
Aims to improve the welfare of all animals through veterinary science, education and debate.

Blue Cross -
Dedicated to helping poorly, injured and abandoned pets. Provides treatment and seeks happy homes for thousands of cats, dogs, small pets and horses every year.

British Horse Society -
Provides a strong vice for horses and people and spreads awareness through support training and education

Compassion in World
Campaign peacefully to end all cruel factory farming practices. Using a focused, specialised approach to work on farm animal welfare.

International Animal Rescue -
Prevents the suffering of animals’ world wide. Returns rescued animals to their natural environment, but they also provide permanent sanctuary for animals that can no longer survive in the wild

Their mission is to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. From coral reefs to deserts, they work to protect the lands and waters that plants and animals need to survive.

OneKind -
Intend to create a movement of people who live an animal-friendly lifestyle as the mainstream

Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals -
Rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes hundreds of thousands of animals each year. Offer advice on caring for all animals and campaign to change the laws that will protect them, which they will enforce through prosecution.

The Wilderness Foundation
Aims to preserve the world’s last remaining wild places by highlighting their positive impact on the health of the individual, society and the planet.

World Wide Fund For Nature -
Pioneer to save and protect iconic wildlife like pandas, tigers, whales and rhinos. Focus on respecting and valuing the natural world and finding ways to share the Earth’s resources fairly

WSPA – World Society for the Protection of
Helps protect animals around the world from cruelty and suffering. Works directly with animals, people and organisations that can ensure animals are treated with respect and compassion.
